Vardan is a video game released in 1989 for Commodore 64 by Italvideo di Castenaso . It is a platform and scrolling shooter video game, with a medieval fantasy hero fighting monsters, and is mainly inspired by the classic arcade Ghosts' n Goblins . It was developed by Alberto Frabetti, later author of Dragon's Kingdom , another title for Commodore 64 similar to Ghosts' n Goblins . It is sometimes incorrectly cited as Varidan because of the Gothic characters used in the title screen, which can be misunderstood.
